Do I have a UTI from holding my pee?

I got out of school a week and a half ago and i used to hold my pee a lot because the bathrooms are disgusting and i don't like to go in there.I would always wait until i got home to pee and if it went away i waited even longer which probably isn't good. I noticed i felt a stinging/burning feeling when i pee so do i have a uti or is it something else?
